Our view of technology
At DataRose, we believe technology has only one purpose in a business environment - to increase profitability. To this end, technology must:

With all this in mind, when developing our solutions, DataRose aggregated best of breed proprietary and open-source web-based technologies to maximize efficiencies and ease of use and to eliminate the need to make a big hardware or software purchase.

Equally important, we crafted our technology for reliability, security, and compatibility.
Reliable: Reliability starts with infrastructure. We have built our systems on server-class, multiple, redundant machines in geographically diverse data centers using Tier 1 providers. We rely on best of breed UNIX based systems for their proven, scalable, and stable architecture and security. We use best practices to avoid downtime. Most important, we have the ability to recover from system failure within minutes or hours - not days. We constantly mirror data and can quickly and transparently switch to the designated failover server to minimize business interruption.
Secure: DataRose utilizes certified ISO 9001:2000 SAS-70 data centers. For file-based data exchange, encryption is used. We also support most secure transfer protocols. Our systems are designed to prevent access by unauthorized people; our data and presentation servers are separate and independent. There is no Internet access to our database servers. Our service does not compromise the security of your database. We do not require and do not have access to your database - only to the data you transfer. We do not deploy ActiveX or Java.
Platform Agnostic: EqX is 100% compatible with all commercially available collections management software. We support all leading data formats. All of the features of EqX can be fully utilized using Internet Explorer, Firefox, Mozilla, Opera, Safari, or Konquerer under a variety of operating systems: Windows, Linux, Unix, Solaris, AIX, and Mac OSX.
